Track 1 is a drum set version of "From Kameoka Roads", a piece that I released on high/low drums last year. The rhythms, drumming vocabulary, and organisational system featured throughout are an area I call "coiling", which I've been developing over the past few years. The initial idea was to try and create a drumming/rhythm/sticking language from scratch, in response to physical experiences, motion based pendulums, ground to foot information sensations, and mental states that I regularly experience during long distance barefoot runs.

Most of the ideas in this piece were generated during long runs throughout Mino and Kameoka, Japan.
